April 16, 2010: Hello Race Fans! Well, the 2010 season has finally started. It's the middle of April and we have already race 3 times. So far, mother nature has been kind but that can all change in an instant. As most of you know by now, I'll just be running E-mods this season. It's going to be really nice to focus 100% on one class. Mike and I decided at the end of last season to really hit the road and run as many races as possible this year. Check out our tentative schedule to see if we will be in your area!
So, far we have hit the ground running. Out of 3 races, we have two 3rd's and a Win and PPMS. Mike and I were pretty happy to finally get a victory at PPMS. There are a few other tracks on my list where I would like to pick up a victory so hopefully we can chip away at that list this year!!!
I'll try to keep this updated as much as I can but for the most recent info, you may want to check out the Facebook page.
Have a good one and we look forward to seeing you at a track near you soon!!

July 31, 2009: Hello!! Guess with so much happening since the last update (almost a year ago, Sorry bout that!) I'll just give you a brief overview of how the 2009 season has been going and where we are headed for the remainder.
This season, we kinda scaled back the travelling and just focused on running weekly at Tri-City. With the other car primarily being Al's now, we'll just have to wait until the other car is ready or the Tri-City season is over to start stepping out. That's been fine with me since we have been running the entire FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series schedule with the crate late this year. Although it wouldn't take too much arm twisting to get me out emod racing on off nights!! ;-)
The 2009 season at Tri-City has been pretty good. We struggled a bit the first few weeks of the season due to handling issues with the car. After we got that squared away, it's been pretty much "business as usual". Although the wins have been a little harder to come by but as long as we keep putting ourselves in the position to win, they should come. Although I'm not complaining too much as we have a couple wins and have been killing with 2nd place finishes. There's still a month to go and the competition is always tough so we'll see what happens!
After Tri-Citys's Oil Region show, I think we'll be hitting some more events at other tracks. I know Mike said to start looking at the schedules to see which events we want to attend. Sept and Oct are my favorite time of year for racing and I can't wait to head out to some other venues!
Well that's it for now. Gotta thank Mike again for letting me drive his cars and a special thanks for the SWEET Bob Pierce Drivers suit. It looks AWESOME!!
See you at the track!
November 4 , 2008: Hello all!! Sorry but it's been a while since I've updated Mikes page. So much going on all the time, I think I need to hire someone to do a weekly update, got any takers?? ;-)
Mike and I both figured it would be hard to top the success we had last season but I'm happy to report we matched 2007 in 2008 with another Championship at Tri-City and the PCTC Championship!!! We also qualified for the Ironman Award at Tri-City for completing 100% of the laps. That's 2 years in a row! Heck I'm as proud of that Ironman achievement as anything since it is a true reflection of the preparation Mike does to the cars week in week out.
This years championship was not an easy one to achieve at all. Right from the get-go we had a constant battle with Mike Potosky and Shawn Shingledecker. Both of those guys are tough competitors and it was a blast racing with them all season. It came down to the last race and we just eeked out Mike by 6 points at the end. Can you say close!!
The end of the year events were fun but we have still been trying to get a good short track package put together for this Pierce car. While Big Al proved the other car was "just fine" at Tri-City capturing night one of the Oil Region Classic. (nice job Al) It still was a bit inconsistent on a short track with bite. We are getting closer every event and our last race at Mercer proved we were on the right track. Mike is usually a bit apprehensive on heading to Mercer since we always seem to come away with a bent up racecar but since I was going to be there with the FASTRAK late model, I talked him into coming down. Out of the 60+ emods in attendance, I think we finished 7th with absolutely no damage!! The same couldn't be said for my late model. Sometimes I should listen to Mike!!
Another change that was made towards the end of the season was a switch to Hoosier Tires. Now I have been friends with Greg Simon from Hoosier since I ran my own emod. Both him and his wife Debbie are two of the nicest folks around. Hoosier had been doing some homework on their emod tire package and we decided to try them out. We are definitely glad we did and look forward to working with the good folks at Hoosier for next year as well!!!
That's about a wrap for the 2008 season. Once again, I have to thank Mike for choosing me to drive his cars. It feel really fortunate that he let's me wheel his machines after putting in all of the man hours during the week preparing it. It's a privilege I don't take lightly and hope we can keep the momentum built from 07 and 08 rolling on into 2009 and beyond!!!
Have a great off season and I'm sure we'll see you at a banquet or two!!!
